When my frail elderly parents came to share my home three years ago I did not anticipate the impact this would have on all our lives. Almost two hundred GP/clinic/hospital appointments later, I can empathise with living inside a caring situation and also the problems of being employed in a caring role.
This site has been created with you in mind as either a carer or care sector worker - or in many cases, both! We hope you will discover here a place to relax and indulge your recreational side - a feature missing from the lives of many carers because of their commitments. For those engaged in the care sectors, we encourage you to unwind and develop your strengths from a supportive network. Separately and together, both communities can draw from each other’s experiences and hopefully also share some lighter moments!
